About Us

I was fortunate enough to discover at an early age that I was in love with fashion. Not in the way that I was constantly obsessed with clothing or what people were wearing. I loved fashion in the way that it just came naturally to me and I found it to be so interesting. I was always confident with clothing- it just made sense - and since I wasn't a very confident person otherwise, I felt lucky to have that outlet. I grew up with 4 sisters and was constantly surrounded by clothes and helping someone choose what to wear. In a house full of girls someone is always needing to put an outfit together for some reason or another.

I went to Baylor University and ended up majoring in Fashion Merchandising.  It was there that I was able to learn about the ins and outs of design as well as the business aspect of fashion. I found it fascinating.

After college I was able to get a position with a local company here in Dallas that designs fashion accessories. I started out as an assistant and had some amazing people take a chance on me. They saw that I had an eye for design and were willing to let me learn and grow while pursuing a career in design - something that I never thought I would be able to do. I eventually worked my way up to Senior Designer. I loved planning, creating, working with factories, and all of the small details that go into every aspect of designing a product. After several years of working, marriage, and life- my sweet son, Bizz, came into this world. Working across town and being a new mom didn’t quite fit and so I decided to quit my job and focus on my dream.

Dreams are funny like that. They start to take shape, then form hazily and then finally something happens, and you know exactly what your heart wants to pursue. I had always loved fashion and design, but having Bizz showed me that I wanted to create a children’s clothing line. In 2019 while in the early stages of starting this company, I found out that I was pregnant again. That October I had another bundle of joy, our Siss. And Bizz x Siss was formed!

Every print is hand drawn, every color is hand selected, every silhouette has been tried on by my family. This business has heart and soul thrown into every aspect and I’m so excited to share it with the world. Comfort, style, and quality are so important to me when clothing my children and I hope that it shows through our clothing line.
